Follow the steps below to register your Passkey:
1. Log in to the bitcastle app.
2. Tap the profile icon and select Settings.
3. Tap Security.
4. Select Passkey (Biometric Authentication) and add a new device.
5. An email with the following subject will be sent to your registered email address. Check the verification code and enter it.
Email Subject: 【bitcastle】Passkey Creation Request
6. You will be prompted to log in using biometric authentication. Complete the login process. (The method may vary depending on your device.)
7. Once the message ""Authentication method has been added"" is displayed, the passkey registration is complete.
If You Are Unable to Register
If you are unable to register a passkey, possible causes include:
・Using a device that does not meet the recommended environment.
・Not granting Face ID permission to the bitcastle app (for iOS devices only).
Troubleshooting Steps
Try the following steps in order:
・Update your device/browser/app to the latest version.
・For Android devices: Update Google Play Services.
Go to Settings > Apps > All Apps, find Google Play Services, open App details, and update.
Check your network connection.
・If using Wi-Fi: Try toggling it OFF and ON.
・If using mobile data: Ensure you are in an area with a stable connection.
・Reinstall the bitcastle app.
