Step 1: Register Your Account
1. Open the official bitcastle website.
Click on *Register* for crypto assets
2. Enter your email address and click *Next*.
3. You will receive an email with the subject:
[bitcastle] Please confirm your registration
This email contains a 6-digit verification code.
> If you're using a mobile carrier email address, please check your spam filter settings and allow emails from `@bitcastle.io` as they may be blocked by stricter security filters.
4. Enter the verification code, your desired password, and confirm your password.
Check the boxes to agree to the *Terms of Service*and *Privacy Policy*, then click *Save*.
> The verification code is valid for 2 minutes.
> If it expires, click *Resend* to receive a new code.
🔐 Password Requirements
* Must be **8 to 50 characters**
* Must include **uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols**
* Allowed characters: letters, numbers, and the following symbols:
`! # < > ( ) & @ % + $ * . _ - 。`
5. After saving, return to the homepage.
Click the *person icon* in the top right corner, then click *Unverified* below your email address.
6. The identity verification screen will appear.
Click *Start* to begin personal information registration.
Step 2: Register User Information
1. Click *Start”* to begin identity verification.
2. Enter the following user information:
* Nationality
* Last name
* First name
* Last name (Katakana)
* First name (Katakana)
* Date of birth
* Gender
* Phone number
Click *Next* to continue.
> If you're registering a corporate account, please enter the information of the authorized representative.
3. Once registration is complete, click *Next* to proceed to the identity document verification step.
Step 3: Identity Document Submission
1. Proceed to the identity verification step.
If you're registering a corporate account, select *Corporate Account* and click *Next*.
2. Enter the required *corporate information*and click *Submit*.
3. Enter the *representative’s information*:
* Full name
* Login email address
* Job title
* Reason for registration
4. Scroll down and click *What are identity documents?*
Review the information and proceed to upload the required documents.
5. From the dropdown menu, select the type of ID:
* **Driver’s License** or
* **My Number Card**
Please read the *Pre-upload Checklist* carefully before proceeding.
6. Upload the *front side* of your ID document.
7. Upload the *back side* of your ID document.
8. Upload a *profile photo* and click *Submit*.
9. Enter your company information:
Provide your **company website or social media profile**.
10. Upload the following corporate documents:
* Certificate of Registered Matters
* Articles of Incorporation
* Registry Transcript
* Power of Attorney
* Additional documents (if any)
> If you wish to use our Power of Attorney *template*, click *Template*.
> If a popup appears on your screen, click *Allow*.
11. Add *shareholder information* by clicking *Add Shareholder*.
Select either *Individual* or *Corporate*.
A. For Individual Shareholders
Enter the following details:
* Nationality
* Country of residence
* Name
* Gender
* Date of birth
* Roles (multiple selectable)
Once complete, click *Add*.
B. For Corporate Shareholders
Enter the following details:
* Company name
* Country of incorporation
* Roles (multiple selectable)
* Corporate type
* Country of operation
Once complete, click *Add*.
12. The confirmation screen will appear. Click *Submit*.
13. Review the entered information.
To edit any section, click the *pencil icon* on the left and update as needed.
14. Once complete, click *Agree* to submit your identity documents.
15. After successful submission, your account level will be upgraded to *Lv3*.
You will receive a confirmation email at your registered address.
▼ Verification Results ▼
🟢 Approved
* Once your verification is approved, you can begin trading.
* A **green “Verified”** label will appear under your email address.
* Your account level will be upgraded to **Lv4**, and you will be notified by email.
🔴 Not Approved
If the verification is *rejected*, a message saying
Not Approved – Your identity verification was not accepted will be displayed upon login.
* An email notification will be sent to your registered address, indicating the reason for rejection.
* After confirming the reason, click **“Update KYC Information”** to re-submit the correct documents.
🟡 Pending
If your verification is under review, the status will display as *Processing*.
🟠 Not Submitted
If you haven’t submitted any documents, your status will remain *Unverified*.
Step 4: Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
1. Log in to your bitcastle account and click the *person icon* in the top right corner.
2. Click *Settings*.
3. Under the **Security Settings**, click *Next Step* next to Two-Factor Authentication.
4. To activate 2FA, enter the *password* associated with your bitcastle account (the same password used at login).
5. After entering your password, click *Confirm*.
6. On your smartphone, download and install a two-factor authentication app (such as Google Authenticator) from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
7. Once installed, scroll down on the bitcastle screen and copy the displayed *Setup Key*. You can copy it easily by clicking the **square copy icon** next to it.
❗️The Setup Key is issued only to you and cannot be reissued or recovered by bitcastle❗️
❗️Please store it securely — it will also be required if you ever need to reset 2FA.❗️
8. Open the 2FA app on your smartphone (e.g., Google Authenticator) and tap *Get Started*.
9. If this is your first time using the 2FA app, you may see a prompt to begin setup.
10. Choose your preferred setup method:
A. Scan a QR Code
Use your phone to scan the QR code displayed on your PC screen.
B. Enter Setup Key Manually
Enter the following details:
Account name - Your bitcastle account email
Key - Paste the Setup Key you copied earlier
11. After entering the details, tap *Add*.
12. The app will now display a **6-digit authentication code**.
⏰ The code refreshes **every 30 seconds ⏰
> If you don't enter it in time, you'll see an error message saying “Invalid authentication code.”
> A new code will be generated automatically — please check the countdown timer next to the code and enter it while it's still valid.
13. Return to the bitcastle screen and click *Next Step* below the Setup Key section.
14. In the field labeled *Authentication Code*, enter or paste the *6-digit code* shown in your 2FA app, then click *Confirm*.
> Long press on the 6-digit code in your app to copy it.
> Since the code updates every 30 seconds, we recommend entering it just after it refreshes for best results.
15. Once you see the message *Enabled*, your 2FA setup is complete🎉
